This 300 year old city has a lot to offer, such as giac lam pagoda (dating from 1744) and giac vien pagoda (founded about 200 years ago). Also, notre Dame cathedral, which was built between 1877 and 1883, is the most famous of the french-era churches in and around Saigon. this city has amazing bustling streets, fantastic restaurants and whitewashed trees. it is perfect for days of sightseeing, afternoons shopping and evenings spent enjoying a sunset drink at a roof-top bar or on a cruise on Saigon river
